NEET 2020 Counselling Schedule for All India Quota Seats Announced

 

MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) has finally announced counselling schedule of NEET 2020 for admission under 15% All India Quota in various medical and dental colleges of India. This counselling is also special because for the first time AIIMS and JIMPER have come under the ambit of NEET. Admission in these two premiere medical institutions along with other deemed and central universities will be carried out based on NEET score in this counselling. 

 

NEET 2020 Counselling Schedule for 15% AIQ Seats 

 

Students qualified for counselling for 15% AIQ seats in NEET 2020 can register on MCC online portal for the first round of counselling from 27th October to 2nd November 2020. Choice filling and locking can be done between 28th October to 2nd November. After processing of seat allotment, counselling result will be out on 5th November 2020. Students need to report to respective medical colleges till 12th November 2020.

                             

Second round of counselling will begin from 18th November to 22nd November 2020. Choice filling and locking can be done till 22nd November 2020. Result will be out on 25th November. After 2nd round counselling, MOP-UP Round counselling will also be conducted to fill remaining vacant seats in medical and dental colleges.

NEET 2020 Counselling for 85% State Quota Seats  


For filling remaining 85% MBBS and BDS seats under state quota in medical and dental colleges of various states, separate counselling will be conducted in the states by concerned authorities. For example, UGMAC counselling will be conducted by BCECEB in Bihar, JCECEB will conduct counselling in Jharkhand, DME MP will be conducting medical counselling in Madhya Pradesh, and so on. Students need to remain in touch with the official website of state boards who conduct medical counselling in the state based on NEET 2020 merit list.
