UGEAC 2019 Choice Filling, Seat Allotment and Upgradation Process


Bihar Engineering Counselling 2019 based on JEE Main 2019 result for admission into various government engineering colleges of the state is scheduled to start form 1st of August 2019. You must be aware that Bihar Engineering Counselling is now known as UGEAC. For participating in the online counselling of UGEAC, students need to complete Registration on the official website of BCECEB (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board).


UGEAC 2019 Choice Filling Process
On successful registration for UGEAC 2019 online counselling, students will be asked to do choice filling and locking. You need to choose Engineering colleges and branch, based on your preference in it. If you are satisfied with your choices then you should lock them. If you don’t, after last date, your choices will be locked automatically.

Students must note that if one misses registration and choice filling then he will not get another chance to do the same.


UGEAC 2019 Seat Allotment
Based on Merit List and your choices, BCECEB will publish provisional seat allotment result thrice for three rounds of counselling. On 8 August 2019, first round of provisional seat allotment will be published. You need to download your allotment letter within couple of days and report to reporting centre for admission and document verification.

Similarly, BCECEB will publish two more provisional seat allotment result for remaining two rounds of online counselling.

                                     

UGEAC 2019 Seat Upgradation Process
If you don’t want to take admission in the allotted college, you can opt for seat upgradation while downloading seat allotment order. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be allowed to do so later.

After downloading Allotment order, you must report to reporting centre for document verification and get countersigned document verification slip. In the next round of counselling, you will be asked to produce this document verification slip along with your original certificates at the reporting centre.

If a student doesn’t go to reporting centre for document verification, he will be disqualified from participating in the next rounds of counselling.
