ICAR AIEEA 2019 Choice Filling, Seat Upgrade and Online Counselling Process


Based on the result of NTA AIEEA 2019, ICAR has started the online counselling for admission to Bachelor degree programmes to 15% seats (100% seats at ICAR-NDRI Karnal, RLBAU Jhansi and Dr. RPCAU Pusa) in Agriculture & Allied Science Disciplines at Agricultural universities under the ICAR-AU system. The schedule of ICAR Agriculture counselling 2019 has been released.


ICAR AIEEA UG 2019 Choice Filling and Online Counselling Process

Students obtaining positive marks in ICAR AIEEA 2019 and who have been declared eligible for participating in online counselling can take part in ICAR Counselling Process. Registration for the online counselling can be done from 26 July to 30 July 2019 on the official website of ICAR.

After submitting counselling fee, students will be required to do choice filling in which they must select preferred Agricultural Colleges and lock them if satisfied. If a candidate does not lock his choices, after last date of Registration, his last saved choices will be automatically locked down.

Based on Merit List and Choices, first round of seat allotment will be released on 1 August 2019. Students need to download provisional admission recommendation letter and report to concerned university for document verification from 2 August to 6 August 2019.

On successful document verification and deposition of course fee, university will issue admission letter to candidate. After this, second and third round of counselling will be conducted to fill remaining seats and the process will remain same.

ICAR Seat Upgrade Process during Online Counselling

According to ICAR Online Counselling Brochure, three rounds of counselling will be conducted. Students can upgrade their seats in first two rounds of counselling only. ICAR will allot a particular university to students though online counselling. Based on marks and choice, a university will then allot student a college.

If some students don’t report to their university for document verification after seat allotment, seats available as a result will be available for upgradation. For upgrading his/her seat, a student need to request the same to his university. It can be done online also but students need to take admission in a college before asking for upgradation of their seat.

If a upgraded seat is offered to a candidate, he must accept it and leave the earlier allotted seat. If a candidate doesn’t get upgraded seat, as desired, he will retain the seat allotted to him earlier.
