New Question Pattern of Class 10 & Class 12 Bihar Board Exams
Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has introduced a minor change in the question pattern of Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) Bihar Board Exams. Though these changes are minor but it could help students significantly in scoring higher marks in the board examination. These changes will be introduced from the academic session 2018-19. It means, students who are going to appear in Bihar Board Exams 2019, will see changes in the question paper pattern. New Question Pattern of Class 10 and Class 12 Bihar Board Exams
Long Answer Questions
a) Under new question pattern, 8 long answer type questions will be asked in a theory paper of 100. Students need to answer only four of them.
b) In a theory paper of 70 marks, 6 long answer type questions will be asked. Students need to answer only 3 of them. Earlier, each long answer type question was asked with an optional question.
Short Answer Questions
Due to changes made in the question pattern, now 75% more short answer type questions will be asked in Class 10 and Class 12 Bihar Board Exams.
a) In a theory paper of 100 marks, 25 short answer type questions will be asked and students are required to answer only 15 out of them.
b) In a theory paper of 70 marks, 18 short answer type questions will be asked and students need to answer 10 of them.
Earlier, 22 questions of short answer type were asked in the theory paper of 100 marks and 15 questions were asked in the theory paper of 70 marks.
The new changes made in the question paper pattern will equally impact students of matriculation and intermediate. BSEB had introduced a major change in the question paper pattern of Board exams in 2018. It began asking 50 percent objective questions in the examination. This time, changes have been made in the number of short and long answer questions. These changes have been made to help students in scoring higher marks in the examination.
