How to apply online for 18252 Railway Jobs?



Indian Railway has come up with 18,252 jobs this year and has already released the application form for the same. RRB will conduct online Computer Based Test (CBT) throughout the country for the recruitment to different railway posts. Aptitude test or Typing test will also be conducted for some posts. Candidates who have completed their graduation can apply for it. Those candidate whose result for final examination is awaited, should not apply for this exam. Let us see, how to apply online for 18,252 Railway Jobs?


Before applying online, it is recommended to read the information bulletin carefully and check your eligibility for the exam. As mentioned earlier, only those having graduation degree from a recognised university of the country; can apply for this exam. Follow below mentioned steps to complete your registration.



·         Visit any RRB website. For example, if you want to go to RRB website of Chennai then go to www.chennai.rrbonlinereg.in


·         Click on new Registration and select any one RRB


·         Follow given instructions and provide relevant information


·         Upload your recent photograph, not older than 3 months


·       Submit examination fee. Candidates of unreserved or OBC category need to pay 100 Rupees. SC/ST or Women or Minorities or Economically Backward Classes or physically handicapped candidates are not required to pay any fee for the exam


The last date to apply for RRB Computer Based Test (CBT) is 25 January, 2015. Submission of multiple applications will result into cancellation of your candidature. Hence, submit only one application form.



Information regarding Exam date, Time and Exam centre will be provided soon on respective RRB websites. RRB will conduct CBT between the months of March to May 2016. 100 questions will be asked in the upcoming CBT. Duration of the online exam will be 90 minutes. For each wrong answer, one-third mark will be deducted.
