CBSE Duplicate Certificates Online Application Process | CBSE DADS

Have you lost your Passing Certificate or Mark Sheet that was issued to you by CBSE after Class 10 or Class 12 Board Examination? If your certificates have been mutilated, what is the next step? Obviously, earlier students used to visit CBSE Regional Offices for obtaining duplicate mark sheet or certificates of Class 10 or Class 12. But, due to ongoing wrath of pandemic, board has decided to provide this facility online; so that students are not required to visit regional offices.

CBSE DADS Portal: How to Apply for Duplicate Certificates Online?

CBSE also provides digital copies of mark sheet and certificate (passing certificate) of class 10 and class 12 via digilocker. Notwithstanding, students prefer hard copies of these certificates. Looking at these, board has launched a new portal- CBSE DADS (Duplicate Academic Document System).

Through CBSE DADS portal students can apply online for obtaining various certificates like mark sheet, duplicate certificate (passing certificate), migration certificate of class 10/12 and even birth certificate (based on matriculation records). The hard copies of duplicate certificates will be identical to that of original certificates. You can also apply for digital documents through this portal.

    • Visit CBSE DADS portal https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/dads/home.aspx
    • Choose between digital or printed document. Digital document will be issued in digilocker
    • For printed documents, you need to submit shipping address. Once generated, your duplicate certificate will be sent to you via India Post (Speed Post).
    • Once your duplicate document gets printed, status of the same will be updated by the board on its website. It means, you can track the status of your application on the CBSE DADS portal.
    • If you opt to collect your certificate by hand from regional office, an acknowledgement slip will be generated after submission of online application. This certificate needs to be produced before regional office for collection of certificates.
