CBSE Declared AIPMT 2014 Result



Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally declared the result of AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) 2014. Students were anxiously waiting for it for the last one month. One can check AIPMT 2014 result on the official website of AIPMT i.e. www.aipmt.nic.in. AIPMT was conducted by CBSE this year for taking admission into various MBBS or BDS colleges of India. Based on AIPMT 2014 results, 15 percent of the total available Medical seats will be filled all across the country. CBSE conducted AIPMT 2014 on 4th May. 




Earlier CBSE used to conduct Medical exams in India in two stages including AIPMT and Mains. In 2013, CBSE conducted NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) for taking admission into various Medical Colleges of India. But many Private Medical Colleges and different states filed petition in the Supreme Court against NEET. NEET was proposed by the Medical Council of India as a single Medical Entrance Examination. Later Supreme Court called it unconstitutional and dismissed NEET.


Based on the order of Supreme Court, CBSE conducted AIPMT 2014. In this examination 180 questions were asked, 90 questions from Biology while 45 questions were asked from Physics and Chemistry each. CBSE wrote to different states and requested them to join AIPMT. Many states like Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, etc accepted the proposal of CBSE and became the member of AIPMT. In these states, Admission into Medical Colleges will be done based on AIPMT 2014 result.

UPSC Prelims 2024 postponed due to Lok Sabha Election

  Election commission of India has declared the dates for Lok Sabha election 2024. The general election will be conducted in seven phases throughout the country. UPSC Prelims 2024 was earlier scheduled to be held on 26 May 2024. The preliminary examination was falling in the midst of the last two phases of Lok Sabha election. BCECE for Engineering Colleges of Bihar Scrapped

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination ( BCECE ) 2019 has been scrapped. BCECEB has announced on its official website that it will not conduct BCECE 2019 from this year onwards.
