Being a medical aspirant from the state of Jharkhand is not that easy. The mineral-rich state was created in 2000 by bifurcating the state of Bihar. Till 2020, the state had seen more than 5 CMs heading the state government but during the same 2-decade-long saga, not a single government medical college started functioning at full scale. Much water has flown under the Subarnarekha. Jharkhand has now new AIIMS, 3 new government and couple of new private medical colleges. Let us take a look at MBBS and BDS seat in Jharkhand under state quota.  

There are 15 Government Medical Colleges in Madhya Pradesh including   AIIMS Bhopal . Admission in all these colleges is done based on NEET Merit List. In AIIMS Bhopal, candidates across the country can take admission based on   NEET All India Rank   while in other government colleges of MP,   15   percent seats are reserved under   All India Quota   while some seats are reserved under   Government of India (GOI)   for central nominees.   

Admission in Government and Private Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh (MP) is now done based on   NEET Merit List .   National Testing Agency   (NTA)   conducts NEET every year and based on its merit list,   Department of Medical Education   (DME)   under the government of Madhya Pradesh conducts counselling for allotment of MBBS seats under state quota. After the declaration of   NEET 2024 result, counselling notification will be released on DME MP website. In this post, we will take a look at Madhya Pradesh Private Medical College Fee Structure.  

Last month Medical Council of India (MCI) took a very harsh decision and reduced Medical seats in West Bengal to half. Approx 50 percent MBBS seats reduction in the state shocked everybody. It gave severe headache to thousands of Medical aspirants who cracked West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (Medical) this year but were not sure whether they will get admission in a Medical College or not. In WBJEE 2014 out of 63,330 candidates, only 4,433 qualified for the Medical counselling. But after the decision of MCI only 1200 Medical seats were available in the state.
