Bihar Board Exams, either of Class 10 or Class 12, have undergone massive changes in terms of question paper pattern over the last couple of years. In 2017, 50 percent objective questions were introduced in the theory paper of each subject. In 2018, Bihar Board increased the number of short answer and long answer questions to help students in passing board exams easily.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) had introduced a major change in the question pattern of class 12 or intermediate examination from the academic session 2017-18. From this session onwards, all theory question papers of Bihar board examswill contain 50% objective questions. It means, MCQs will now fetchyou half of the total marks of theory paper.
