Recruitment of 25,000 Bank PO, registration begins 22nd July



In the 22 nationalized banks of India recruitment of approx 25,000 Probationary Officer (PO) will be done soon through a common recruitment process CWE PO/MT-IV which will be conducted by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). Earlier IBPS used to conduct examination for only 19 national banks of India but this number has increased to 22 this time. Registration for the exam has begun from 22nd July. You will find the list of 22 nationalized Indian banks below for which IBPS will conduct examination this year.
IBPS will also conduct examination for the newly launched Indian bank dedicated to women only i.e. Bharatiya Mahila Bank. IBPS has released notification for the examination and it is expected that this year recruitment of 25,000 Bank PO will be done through it.

Candidates can apply for the examination from 22nd July through online mode. The last date to fill online application is 11th August. Candidates falling in the age group of 20 to 30 are eligible to appear in this exam. IBPS has declared the dates of all examinations which will be conducted in six stages. First examination will be conducted on 11th October 2014 while the last one will be conducted on 2nd November 2014. The result of the examination will be declared in the month of November while Interview will be conducted in January. In coming days, new branches of different banks will be opened in many regions of the country. As a result many vacancies will be created for the youngsters in this sector.
